I want to respond to what ”john” has just said – i would say he is making racist comments. Immigration has always been there even b4 he was born, even if he looks at his background, family background his forefathers where all immigrants. Because he was opportuned to be born in a country where everything works does not mean every other persons that comes to canada’s shores is a terrorist trying to steal his OHIP as he claims. What if he was in the shoes of those immigrants wouldn’t he have sought for a good place to live and raise his kids – the use of the word black block immigrants or terrorist is a derogatory word and highly degrading. Canada has tried on its own to accommodate and re-integrate potential immigrants. its not every ones wish to become an immigrant or a refuge. I believe everyone is entiled to have a good life.

I dont know if this kind of application, together with the sponsorship to my husband, could do things run faster for his permanent residence application to be decided. Otherwise I will have the problem that I should leave the country, since I have 2 small kids that cant stay away from their father for a period of more than 1 month. Please tell me what you know about this thing!!

i dont understand why these sponsers first sponser the person from a forgien country and then they make it look like somebody married them to get P.R. card…so funnny like they have have nothing else to do…and C.I.C. is proposing changes to make a sponsered persons life more difficult and easier for any sponser to first marry a person ,enjoy for a some time and before the 2 years time is over just go and tell immigration that the person married to get immigration. So the sponser can realy abuse the system. its not a wise perposal to pass.

it is realy sad to know that even genuine marriges fail but if it fails shortly after the sponsered person has landed. So sponser can simply approach C.I.C. and tell them taht the sponsered person married him or her for the purpose of immigration. so it is nothing more than incouraging these people to take advantage of the system..isnt it? Enjoy Honeymoon and then say that you are a victim..
wao…doesnt make any sense…does it? i am saying this because same thing happened to me…my sponser even kept my all identies including my P.R. Card…and smartly complaint the immigration that i married him to get immigration.
i dont say sponser doesnt get deceived but most of the time its the person who is sponsered gets abused because they are new to country and not aware of the laws…so the sponser can realy exploite the system….Opreation Honeymoon needs to check the other side of the story too.

It depends on where the parent is legally residing, as well as their health. generally it may take at least three years

This advice is not enef, reason being where we get good counsellor, how we check his authority, is he really professional, how we know about these, these thing should be mention so that it really helpful to the clients/visa applicant. And so that he/she will easily go throw with visa interviews.

I am a new applicant searching for good councillor who can immigrate me to Canada, but I am fall to get a right counsellor, that’s why still I did not applied.

The Canadian Immigration system is a very hypocrite system!
The immigrants come to this country based on a points system, which acknowledges his/her qualifications as an engineer, physician, etc. Without such qualifications the immigrant would either not qualify or have less points. After getting the permanent resident status, the professional comes to this country and is told that his qualifications are not valid!
There is no carrot (permanent status) that would make me stay in such a country, reason why I am leaving… forever! Goodbye!!!
By the way, if the income comes from abroad, taxes have to be payed abroad, not in Canada. It is not Canadian money! Or all Canada is looking for in immigrants is their pockets? This country provides poor health care (for free, but very poor) and almost no child care and wants tax money for what, excuse me?
